A brief survey of four Tibetan texts dealing with the mixing of colors for painting. The texts were written by Deumar Geshé Tendzin Puntsok (de'u dmar dge bshes bstan 'dzin phun tshogs, 1725-?), Bodong Penchen Choklé Namgyel (bo dong pan chen phyogs las rnam rgyal, 1375-1451), Mipam Gyatso (mi pham rgya mtsho, 1846-1912), and Rongta Lozang Gyatso (rong tha blo bzang rgya mtsho, 1863-1917).
