In this literature review, the promising outcomes of mindfulness training are evaluated for reducing automatic cognitions linked to unconscious bias. The literature supports how meditation training leads to an increase in mindfulness skills, thus correlating with reduced activation of implicit bias and increased awareness of implicit biases when they are activated.
