The article discusses the function of a rite called Rajyabhisehk. It is a custom practiced when one gained a high post. In the Malla period, Rajyarohan and Rajyabhisekh are taken to have the same function. In Shah dynasty the Rajyabhisehk was done according to Dharmashastra. (Rajeev Ranjan Singh 2007-01-01)
