This article presents information on rejuvenation techniques in Tibetan medicine. The process of rejuvenation includes several alternatives some of which involve the preparation of medical oils for internal consumption. These require a combined concentration of a series of three decoctions of the same batch of natural ingredients each time. To this final concentrated decoction is added clarified butter and sometimes also honey and tiny amounts of supplementary ingredients in the final stages. This article also informs about Essence-extraction practice, which does not involve extracting an essential oil or similar essential component. It involves the ultimate sphere of rejuvenation combining many dimensions of spiritual practice.
