This article illustrates how human beings are social species through stating how the views one holds of themselves and the world are intimately connected by meta-cognitive transactions with the rest of humanity. The perceived isolation experience is classified as a self-reinforcing cycle of experience, thoughts, beliefs, and actions which can be prevented through cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness meditation.
