Since 1971 original documents, dictionaries of medical terms, and classical texts of Tibetan medicine have been published in China as European-style books. The article gives a short description of some of the documents and concludes that new publications will help to study the art of Tibetan medicine in the Soviet Union and to offer the possibility of significant scholarly research in this area.
