I, like many of my colleagues, feel excited and energized about the new insights and interventions resulting from the overlap of brain research, attachment theory, and psychotherapy (Siegel, 2010; Wallin, 2007). This Practice Highlight describes interventions, informed by my knowledge, in my school social work practice in the New York City Department of Education.
